manga/anime

so here are facts that will help you draw, love, and learn about manga/anime!

1. PRACTIC PRATICE PRACTICE!

2. copic. they tell you to work from light to dark.  i break that rule when it comes to the skin.

3. know your vocaloid. vocaloid is a computer software that alows you to creat your own songs with differnt voices, a voice synthisizer, however each projram costs about $500. vocaloid's most popular voice is hatsune miku (my number 1 too). however other popular ones are rin and len kagamine, kaito, meiko, gakupo, gumi megpoid, and luka, also kasane teto is thought of as a vocaloid but is really an UTAU, also some say she's 35 , that is an internet joke, she is around 15 and 1/2 years old

4. don't be afraid to expand your horizons on what animes you read or watch, check out http://crunchyroll.com/ to watch some online FOR FREE! or look on your librarys catolog (make sure you have it set to ' all locations collections' because there might not be any local anime books or DVDs present in the library. animes i recomend: shows- spice and wolf, fruits basket, panty and stocking, books- yotsuba& , and shugo chara.

5. anime items can be expensive, like for example, i went to an anime store once and saw a hatsune miku figure for $112 , i went to eBay ( http://www.ebay.com/ ) and looked up the figure and found someone selling it for $30 (not counting shipping, but that wasn't very expenseive)

6.anime cons!!!! i have only been to one so far and have another upcomming in 4 months. i just have to say, no matter what anime con, no matter who you meet, no one is mean.
i can not say this enought, if you don't cosplay for the con (or dress up in harajuku) you are missing alot of fun oppertunitits like cosplay shoots, the masscarade, lots of stuff, there is no rule that you have to dress up but it adds to the experience

7.learn some japanese terms such as endings to names, words, anything! Just don't weeaboo it out, okay?
